Jens Lehman close to a move back to the gunners

                 Jens Lehmann spent five years at arsenal before joining German side Stuttgart

the gunners are closing on a deal for goal keeper  Jens Lehman for the rest of the season.Jens played 199 times for the north London giants before joining Stuttgart.

the ex German goal keeper has been free agent after retiring from Stuttgart in 2010 spending only two season at the club.Arsenal are hopeful the deal can be done before the game at west brom , Lehman should be in the squad all depending a deal between the player and the club can be done.

Arsenal are short of goal keepers after losing fabianski and szczesny to an injury which means both goal keepers will be out for the rest of the season that leaves alumina is the only fit goal keeper that the gunners have, and is no suprise that arsenal need a goal keeper as soon as possible.

The year august 2003 untill june 2007 jens kept 52 clean sheet puting him second in the history of most clean sheets in the preimer league just one behind chelsea goal keeper peter cech ,jens lehmann was part of the invincible s  the team that went the whole of the 2003/2004 season unbeaten helping the gunners went on to win the preimer league and also played a key role in the 2005 FA cup final win over Manchester united.

Jens Lehmann is known for his aggression and his hunger to win cups, arsenal are hopeing the 41 year old can bring the league title to the emirates this season the gunners have not won a trophy in 6 years.
